Scout Jumble Sale… (meaning more cake)

I am exhausted! Today was the scout jumble sale, so normally that means for me, help set up, sell jumble and clear away, but today instead of selling jumble, I was in charge of the refreshments! This entailed making teas, coffee and squash and selling them with cake. My friends and family and many of the scout parents had been making cake for the previous 24 hours and the end display was incredible. We sold over 200 cakes! And i manage to make just over £80!!

I am really grateful for the first Comberton scout group for letting me run it, and everybody who donated and help out. I couldn’t have done it without you 🙂

Hello! My name is Hannah Chambers, and in 2016 I was selected by the charity Project Trust to take part in a 12 month overseas placement in India this is an incredible opportunity to be able to go for so long and therefore be able to fully immerse myself in the culture. This means that in August 2017 I will be flying to India as a Project Trust volunteer! On this website I hope to keep you updated throughout my journey in getting there, from fundraising and training to actually being out there! Have a read and hope you enjoy!
